We have taken yet another step to guarantee the highest level of security for our customers and clients by successfully completing a SOC 2 Type II audit and receiving a favorable report from an independent Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm.
What is SOC 2?
SOC 2 is an auditing process that ensures an organization has proper controls with regards to the security of systems and data. The criteria have been created by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and provide a benchmark for organizations to ensure they are implementing proper control practices. The audit performed on Touchstone by the independent CPA firm included the Trust Principles of Security and Confidentiality.
A favorable SOC2 Type II report is issued when an organization not only has the above controls in place, but when those controls have been measured and maintained over time.
